lot of time trying to graph fish. I have been fishing areas with large concentrations of bait and the fish seem to “come out of nowhere”. Free lines 50 to 100 feet back has worked best early with a focus on deep water points. The down rod bite is working! concentrations of bait is your best bet.  I have had some reports of fish being caught pitching Herring on points with light tackle. Almost any creek or main lake point with bait  is worth trying.
