We just took our 2nd guided striper fishing trip with Captain Ken West of Big Fish On and we just can’t say enough good things about it and about him.  We thought our 1st trip with him back in March of this year was very successful, but we had NO IDEA what was to come this time around… WOW!

Back in the spring, Capt. Ken put our 11-year old son on a 15 lb, 32″ striper within the first 30 minutes of our trip.  He was super pumped, as it was not only his biggest fish, but his biggest striper ever!  That day we caught several nice spots as well and Capt. Ken was so patient with our son and his two friends that came along.  All in all, it was a very good day.  Now, fast forward 5 months, and it is the first week in August.  Ken told us that if we could handle the heat, the fish were biting in the afternoons.  Like I said, we had no idea what was in store for us… a 10-pounder within the 1st twenty minutes and THEN we caught EIGHT more stripers, six of which were OVER 15 lbs!!!  It was crazy!  Capt. Ken could barely keep up ~ we felt like all we were saying was Big Fish On!!!  It was a fantastic day!

We can’t thank the captain enough for his professionalism, his enthusiasm and his patience.  If you are ever debating which guide to use, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Captian Ken West and Big Fish On.  We don’t think you would be disappointed.  He not only knows the lake, he knows his stripers…  there is no doubt about it!
